1. General Provisions
These terms apply to logistics, transport, transport coordination, residential moving, and related support services provided by Çakı Lojistik.
The final scope of each operation is defined by the quote, service form, transport document, or contract confirmed in writing between the parties.
2. Service Description
Çakı Lojistik may provide transport organization and operational coordination for road, sea, air, industrial cargo, office relocation, and residential moving services.
Depending on the operation, the company may act as carrier, freight forwarder, broker, or intermediary. Unless agreed in writing, it does not act as a common carrier with unlimited carriage obligations.
3. Quotes & Contract Formation
Quotes are based on information supplied by the customer, including cargo details, addresses, timing, dimensions, weight, service scope, and special requirements.
Incomplete or inaccurate information may change price, equipment availability, delivery timing, and the operation plan. A contract is formed when the quote is accepted in writing and the operation is confirmed.
4. Fees & Payment
Fees are calculated according to the service scope stated in the quote or contract. Waiting time, extra addresses, additional packing, customs charges, storage, terminal fees, taxes, duties, and similar third-party costs may be charged separately.
Payment terms are agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to lawful interest and collection costs.
5. Customer Obligations
The customer must provide accurate and complete information about cargo type, value, dimensions, weight, packaging condition, hazardous nature, and delivery details.
Required permits, loading area access, special handling instructions, customs documents, and product documents must be provided on time. The customer may be responsible for risks caused by unsuitable packaging or inaccurate declarations.
6. Liability Limits
Liability may be limited according to service type and applicable law. The CMR Convention for road transport, Hague-Visby Rules for sea transport, and Montreal Convention for air transport may be considered where applicable.
Indirect damages, loss of profit, production loss, commercial losses caused by delay, and undeclared special values are not accepted except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
7. Insurance
Insurance coverage is stated separately in the quote or contract. Standard transport liability may not automatically cover the full value of the cargo.
The customer should request appropriate insurance in writing before the operation starts for high-value or special-risk cargo.
8. Force Majeure
Natural disasters, war, strikes, epidemics, public authority decisions, port or border closures, weather conditions, traffic restrictions, and events outside the reasonable control of the parties may be treated as force majeure.
Delivery times and operation plans may be affected during force majeure. The parties will cooperate reasonably to reduce loss.
9. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Turkish law. Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction.
10. Amendments
Çakı Lojistik may update these terms due to changes in law, service scope, or operational processes. The current text applies from the date it is published on the website.
